What to Expect?

What type of church is Freedom Baptist Church?

Simply stated, we are a church that believes the Bible and believes in the saving power of the blood of Jesus Christ. We are a Baptist church, meaning we hold to the evangelios (the gospel) and recognize the Bible as our final and supreme authority for faith and doctrine.

The word Freedom in our name reflects our independence from government control. Our theology, beliefs, and church policies are shaped by Scripture alone, not by political or governmental influence.

When are services?

We gather every Sunday at 10:45 AM for worship, preaching, and teaching. On the first Sunday of each month, we also observe the Lord’s Supper. Services typically conclude around 12:00 PM.

Every Wednesday at 7:00 PM, we hold a prayer meeting that includes sharing prayer requests, petitions, thanksgiving, and a brief Bible study.

Every Tuesday night at 7:00 PM, we offer separate men’s and women’s life groups focused on encouragement, accountability, and growth in the faith.

How do I get to the church?

The church is located at the top of the hill on German Hill Road.

If you are coming from Merritt Boulevard, you will find us on the left-hand side, just past the Dundalk Florist.

If you are coming from Dundalk Avenue, we are about half a mile past Delvale Avenue on the right-hand side.

What happens when I arrive?

You will be greeted by friendly members who are happy to help. Feel free to come in, choose a seat, and enjoy a friendly conversation before the service begins.

What about my kids?

Every Sunday during the morning service, we provide Sunday School for children up to 12 years of age.

What should I wear?

There is no formal dress code. We simply ask that everyone dress respectfully, as this is a place of worship.
